The Maine Maritime Academy is conducting a competitive bid process for the Leavitt Hall Parking Lot and Paving Phase IIIl project located at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Holmes Heritage Room in the Harold Alfond Student Center at 2:00 p.m. on April 20, 2017.
Work under the bid includes paving overlay and full depth construction of asphalt pavement at Maine Maritime Academy. This work includes removing existing pavement and replacing with full depth reconstruction, new full depth construction and trench paving. The work also includes coordination with the Owner's Utility Company in relocating and installing new gas tanks and underground piping. The Owner's Utility Company will perform their work under a separate contract from this project.
