Sealed bids in envelopes plainly marked Roof Replacement, Oak Hill High School and addressed to Mr. Glen Reynolds, Director of Buildings, Grounds & Transportation, RSU #4, 971 Gardiner Road, Wales, Maine 04280, will be received at the Director's office until 2:00 P.M. on March 16, 2017, at which time and place bids will be opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the removal of approximately 550 squares of asphalt shingle roofing, approximately 36 squares of Modified Bitumen roofing and installing new Shingle, Metal, or EPDM roofing. Structural upgrades consisting of new shop fabricated wood trusses, glue-laminated framing and metal decking are included in the scope of work.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site at 2:30 p.m. on March 2, 2017.
