Brief Job Description: The Project consists of approximately 10,000 SF of renovations and 13,200 SF of addition to the (combined) Poland High School and Middle School in Poland, ME.

Will be opened and read aloud at RSU 16 Central Office at 2:00 pm, on February 6, 2019. Bids received after 2:00 pm will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
Proposals must be accompanied by certified cashier's check for 5% of the proposal, or a satisfactory bid bond in a similar amount. The owner reserves the right to waive all formalities, and reject any and all proposals, or to accept any proposal. Proposals shall be submitted upon the letterhead of the bidder.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% contract performance bond and a 100% contract payment bond to cover the execution of the work which shall be in conformity with the form of bonds contained in Section 2-C of the specifications and for the contract amount.
Any proposal that contains an escalation clause is invalid.
On or about January 9, 2019 Contractors may obtain plans, specifications and addenda (if any), at the contractors' expense which will be made part of the Contract from Xpress Copy Service, 17 Westfield Street, Portland, Maine, telephone (207) 775-2444, fax. (207) 775-2481. No partial sets will be issued.
A mandatory pre-bid site walkthrough will be held at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.
Only prequalified General Contractors are allowed to bid on this project.
