Representatives of the City of Bangor Engineering Department will be present on the date and time shown above to provide information and gather public comment for the Union Street Sidewalk Project II. This is a MDOT locally administered pedestrian improvements project that the City of Bangor will be performing. The project includes constructing a new 6' wide paved sidewalk along with pedestrian signals and ADA compliant crosswalks on the southerly side of Union Street from the end of Vermont Avenue to Griffin Road.
The tentative construction date for this project is June of 2019. Plans are available for review at the City of Bangor Engineering Department, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine.
