
Please take notice that Eurovia Atlantic Coast LLC, 2911 N Graham Street, Charlotte NC 28206, dba Northeast Paving, 953 Odlin Road, Bangor, ME 04401, (207)945-0873, is intending to file on or about December 3, 2018 an application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection ("Department") for the transfer of all Department-issued licenses, permits, and registrations concerning the facilities located at Bangor, Belfast, Charlotte, Dyer Brook, Ellsworth, Hancock, Hermon, Lewiston, Medway, Presque Isle, Searsport, Stockton Springs, and Washington, Maine.
Processing of the application will occur pursuant to the following regulations: 38 MRSA, Section 590 for Air Emission Licenses; 38 MRSA §§ 481-490 for Site Location of Development Act Permits and Gravel Pit ID's; 38 MRSA §420-D for MSGP Stormwater Permits; 38 MRSA, Section 1301 for Beneficial Use of Solid Waste permits, and the Department's Rules Concerning the Processing of Applications and Other Administrative Matters, 06-096 CMR 2.
The transfer application is for Air Emissions Licenses for the asphalt plants, rock crushers, and other equipment; Beneficial Use of Solid Waste Permit; Site Location of Development Act Permits; Gravel Pit Registrations; and Stormwater Permits for the operation of hot mix asphalt plants, gravel pits, and quarries at the locations noted above.
Requests for the Board of Environmental Protection to assume jurisdiction over the application or requests for a hearing on the application must be submitted to the Department in writing no later than 20 days after the application is accepted as complete for processing.
The application and supporting documentation are available for review at the Department of Environmental Protection offices in Augusta, or at appropriate Department regional offices during normal working hours.
A copy of the application and supporting documentation may also be reviewed at the municipal offices in: Bangor, Belfast, Charlotte, Dyer Brook, Ellsworth, Hancock, Hermon, Lewiston, Medway, Presque Isle, Searsport, Stockton Springs, and Washington, Maine.
