The Town of MIlford is requesting bids from contractors for the Town's 2018 paving projects.
Bids must include the price per ton of hot top and/or binder. Bids are due back at the Milford Town Office no later than 5:00pm Monday September 3, 2018.
A) All overlay sections on paved roads are to be tacked and shimmed where necessary and therefore included in the bid pricing.
B) Bids are to include the cost per ton of mix and shimming. Incidentals to be included in ton pricing are: all necessary sweeping, traffic control, cutting of joints at intersection, paved driveways and butt joints, as well as other normal measures associated with municipal paving projects.
C) Paving is to be coordinated with the Public Works Department/ Road Commissioner, Subject to changes at his discretion based upon road conditions, and completed no later than November 17, 20108 unless approved by the Board of Selectmen. The Town of Milford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
D) If prospective bidders have questions, contact the Town office @ 207-827-2072. Bids may be mailed to PO BOX 336, Milford,ME 04461 or dropped off 62 Davenport ST. Milford, ME 04461. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked "Paving Bid".
E) Proof of insurance coverage shall be supplied to the selectmen before validation of the contract.

1. County Road ( Pine St.- Bridge Deck) 3,315 FT. by 22 FT, 1 1/2" shim/ overlay 9.5mm.
2. Hemlock (Start 250 Ft from Cul De Sac) 250 FT by 18 FT, 1 1/2" Shim/ overlay 9.5mm.
3. Richards Lane (County Rd to the Cul De Sac) 540 Ft by 20 Ft, 1 1/2" Shim/ Overlay 9.5mm.
4. Henderson Lane (House 66 - Maple ST.) 1,130 FT by 22 Ft, Reclaim, Grade and Compact 2,762sy Pave 2" 12.5mm.
5. Birch ST (1360 FT by 22 FT, reclaim, grade and compact, 3325sy pave 2' 12.5mm.
6. Bullen ST. (340FT) Reclaim, Grade and compact, pave 2" 12.5mm.
Option: Shoulder rehab 2' minus gravel as needed.
