Notice is hereby given that the Town of Newport Selectboard will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 16, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at the Newport Municipal Building, 23 Water Street, Newport, Maine, for the purpose of receiving public comments on the proposed amendment to the Town's previously designated First Omnibus Municipal Development and Tax Increment Financing District and related Development Program for said Tax Increment Financing District.
A copy of the proposed amendment to the First Omnibus Tax Increment Financing and related Development Program will be on file at the office of the Newport Town Clerk prior to the public hearing, and may be reviewed there during normal business hours.
All Newport residents and property owners are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given opportunity to be heard at that time.
