The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (MDIFW) is conducting a competitive bid process for the Summerhaven Shooting Range Project in Augusta, Maine. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Bureau of General Services office, 4th Floor, Cross State Office Building, 111 Sewall Street, Augusta, Maine at 2:00 p.m. on April 19, 2018. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Summerhaven Range site (211 Sanford Road, Augusta) on April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
This project includes the construction of a new outdoor shooting range with concrete walls, footings, steel columns, overhead concrete baffles, and earth mound backstops. The range will have 8 shooting positions at 100 yards, 12 shooting positions at 25 yards, and an archery range. Associated work includes sitework, storm drainage, erosion control, entry drive and parking lot, walks, lawn, electrical service, and miscellaneous work for complete construction of the facility.
