This is an action for the foreclosure of a mortgage on real property and may affect real property of the Defendant(s) located at, 18 Pine Street, Bucksport, ME 04416, and described in such Mortgage Deed as recorded in Book 4973 at Page 320 in the Hancock Registry of Deeds, Hancock, Maine.
This Court has reviewed the motion of the Plaintiff for service by publication pursuant to Rule 4(g) of the Maine Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 6(b) and finds that Plaintiff is in compliance with Rule 4(g)(1)(A)-(C).
It is ORDERED that service be made upon the Defendant Christopher G. Clayton a/k/a Christopher Clayton by publishing a copy of this Order once a week for three (3) successive weeks in the Bangor Daily News, a newspaper of general circulation in Hancock County, Maine and in the Seattle Times, a newspaper of general circulation in King County, Washington.
It is FURTHER ORDERED that the Defendant Christopher G. Clayton a/k/a Christopher Clayton being served by publication appear and serve an answer to the motion or complaint on counsel for Plaintiff, Loraine L. Hite, Bendett & McHugh, PC, 270 Farmington Avenue, Suite 151, Farmington, CT 06032. The answer must be filed with the Court within forty-one (41) days after the first publication of this Order.
It is FURTHER ORDERED that the Plaintiff mail a copy of the Order as published to the Defendant at 3062 231st Ln SE Apt B103, Sammamish, WA 98075, the last known address of Defendant Christopher G. Clayton a/k/a Christopher Clayton.
Failing to serve an answer will cause judgment by default to be entered, granting relief sought in the motion or complaint.
The clerk may incorporate this order by reference on the docket.
