Project consists of renovations to two (2) classrooms totaling approximately 2,000 sf. Work includes new finishes, partitions, cabinets, MEP and FP systems.
Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until 2:00 PM, June 2, 2017. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Bids shall be delivered Attn: Mr. Brian MacDonald, Facilities Director, at Brewer High School, 79 Parkway South, Brewer, Maine 04412. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bids shall be submitted upon the form provided by the Architect.
The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond (or other performance methods as described in "Information for Contractor") to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds or other documents contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount.
Drawings and Specifications may be obtained after 5/12/17 by contacting Print Bangor, 80 Central Street, Bangor, ME 04401, Tel 947-8049. Cost to obtain documents shall be borne by bidder. Contractors requesting paper copies by mail must make arrangements with Print Bangor. No partial sets will be issued. Online access will be provided to prime bidders only through Print Bangor.
